Foxconn was forced to close a plant located in Taiyuan (China), which employed more than 79,000 people. The reason was the mass brawl of employees - about 2,000 people took part in it. 40 of them after that smoothly moved to the hospital, a few more - to police stations.
A scuffle broke out in one of the hostels between rival groups of workers. It all started at about 11 pm, the police were able to take control of the situation only at 3 am, when the number of participants in the fight reached 2,000.

At 5 am, the plant was closed, announced the complete cessation of production. One Foxconn representative (Louis Wu) said that "the company wants to give people a chance to cool down."
What exactly was the cause of the conflict is unclear. Perhaps it was another discontent caused by the notorious working conditions at these factories. Or some kind of personal conflict crossed all borders.
Also, no reliable data was obtained on what exactly was produced at this plant. Comments
Bloomberg about the fact that the plant released the iPhone 5, Louis hurried to refute. Most likely, this plant did the Wii for Nintendo.
