The State Duma wants to ban the use of anonymizers
It was with such an initiative that the deputy Yaroslav Nilov (LDPR) made a speech. According to him, this innovation is a logical step after the sensational bill 89417-6, which refers to the creation of black lists of sites, access to which will be limited. His colleague Sergey Zheleznyak (EP) also agrees with him:
“Of course, the decisions that we have taken recently in the area of ​​information security of users on the Internet are not our last initiatives,” says Zheleznyak. - We are going to continue to deal with the "harmful" content of our networks, including software that allows you to somehow mask Internet crimes.
Proxy, anonymizers, VPN, Tor, I2P and other means of anonymization can be banned.

As a punishment for this most serious offense, it is planned to use such measures as blocking access to the Internet through an ISP or real fines.
