I understand that, despite the urgency of the issue with the most familiar bill, we are all a bit tired of the amount of information about it. On this wave, our close neighbors from Tajikistan “pleased” very well.
The authorities of Tajikistan have decided to engage in the identification of "slanderers" on the Internet. A special commission was created in the country yesterday that will track materials that appear on the network as slanderous and offensive.
“On the Internet, often commenting on this or that material, users admit obscene words regarding well-known personalities in the republic, insult them in every way, engage in slanderous activities,” said Bega Zukhurov, Head of the Tajikistan Communications Service, to journalists.
The goal of the announced campaign is to identify individuals “purposefully slinging worthy people with mud”. According to the head of the Communications Service, several such individuals have already been identified: “This is a narrow circle of people who are on the Internet under different pseudonyms, or nicknames.” According to the well-known Tajik oppositionist and journalist Dodojon Atovulloev, the Tajik authorities have been struggling with the Internet for a long time. Such sites as Ferghana.RU, CentrAsia were closed to users of the country, they denied access to Facebook.

The oppositionist said: The fight against the Internet is associated with the upcoming presidential elections in Tajikistan, which will be held in 2013. Naturally, the Internet is the only free platform where people can speak. But, unfortunately, even they want to completely control the Internet. Suppose there is a Facebook page, and if one of my friends likes to like some quotes from other opposition-minded people, they will be sent to these people in a personal note: be careful, we know where your family is, where you live, you You will be responsible for all.
