Another Ukrainian online store is being searched

Yesterday's story with the seizure of the servers of the largest Ukrainian online store Rozetka.ua was not an isolated case. According to LigaBusinessInform , today the security forces are searching the office of the online store Sokol.ua, the second largest online store in Ukraine. UPD: As the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported at 18:12, the leadership of Rozetka.ua agreed to compensate the damage caused to the state and, according to part 4 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, can be exempted from criminal liability. Tax incriminates owners of the "Socket" tax evasion amounting to more than 7 million hryvnia (slightly less than a million dollars).

Recently, I had a meeting with the participation of the head of the Tax Service of Ukraine, Klimenka, and we agreed with him that the Tax Service will significantly intensify its work on reaching a tax compromise for entrepreneurs and significantly reduce the tax pressure on business.

UPD4: The news agency segodnya.ua reported on Friday evening that the director of the Rosette, Vladislav Chechetkin, knows nothing that he allegedly agreed to pay a tax of 7 million hryvnias and was outraged that the tax agency demanded to pay money without a court decision. “Such issues in civilized countries are solved by lawyers in court, and not by forceful seizure,” he says. On his Facebook page, he also writes that yesterday they tried to detain him on the street.
