Got a problem in the city? Tell about them and help them eliminate

Stumbled on the open spaces of the network on a very useful option of a social network. Streetjournal is a Perm project whose essence is in the collective discussion of the actual problems for the citizens. It would seem that discussion by discussion, so what?

So, the essence is:
The user of this social network describes the actual city problem, other citizens vote for the most of them, and for significant problems notifications are sent to the appropriate state structures.
')
How exactly it works, I do not know, the corresponding section on the site is in development. However, a little googling, I found positive reviews that the system really works. Here is one of them.

What was surprised, the site has the opportunity to publish problems in other cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kirov, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk, Smolensk, Kazan and Perm itself. Statistics briskly reports about 70 problems solved out of 436, however, which is important for me, in Moscow so far there is not a single problem solved.

A similar project (" Art. 12.34 ") was recently released by an initiative group on the idea of Alexei Navalny, but it is still possible to finish and finish it (although this may have already changed). And the project has a narrow focus - the struggle for high-quality roads / against holes, open hatches, etc. If someone can add something about the social network itself or its analogs, I ask in the comment.

Disclaimer
I am in no way involved in the creation or development of this site, but I believe that the initiative is excellent and I must support it. Therefore, I would like to draw the attention of the Habro-publicity to Streetjournal.org.

PS If there is a more accurate blog, where you should move the article - advise where.

UPD. Talked a little with the person from the project team, he would be happy to answer questions, but he does not have an account on Habré. If there is a generous little guy who is ready to send him an invite - write to me in the PM, I will give his postal address for the invite. I, alas, have not enough karma for invite.
