Roem reports on a successfully completed round of investments in the combined company Netology-groups, managed by Maxim Spiridonov. Two venture capital funds: InVenture and Buran Venture Capital invested $ 2.1 million in the company with an undisclosed valuation of the entire business.
The share that the two funds received for a fresh batch of finance is also unknown. For InVenture, this is the second investment tranche to the company - the previous round of $ 1.1 million was made immediately after the merger of Netology with Foxford in September 2014.
"Netology-group" expects to use funds to expand market share, as well as access to new niches with the help of new projects in areas related to education.

The combined company did not disclose the financial indicators for 2014, however, it is known that in 2013, separately operating Foxford and Netology earned 35 and 20 million rubles, respectively.
According to Roem, 11.5 thousand students graduated from the Netology courses, and Foxford more than 5 thousand. The average cost of attracting a client of Netologiya is 1500 rubles, with a monthly subscription cost ranging from 590 to 790 rubles per month in the case of the Course Library.
"Online University" costs from 15 to 30 thousand rubles for a course of two to three months.
According to the company, 20% of users go through two educational programs.
