To do this, run the game, open the console and press the backspace (<-) 2 times. Then we write "/ seta com_hunkmegs 100", overload the game. Well, that's it.

Or open the q3config.cfg file in ... \ Quake III Arena \ baseq3 with a text editor, search for “com_hunkmegs” and assign a value of 100 to it.
If the error repeats, increase the value until the map starts. Maximum 255 MB.
