Dropbox has acquired
the Pixelapse version of the Github
version control and collaboration system designed for visual product designers. Pixelapse will be integrated into Dropbox over the next year. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. This is the second purchase of the company for 2015: it recently acquired the service of working on
CloudOn documents.
Pixelapse allows users to control versions of graphic projects, working with more than 50 application file formats - both with Photoshop and Illustrator, and with Graffle and Sketch. The service provides the ability to work together with annotations and visual tools.

The Pixelapse platform will be available for at least another year, then the company will focus on working in the Dropbox environment. Registration for designers is
open . After integration, the service will offer users to fully go to Dropbox to continue working on visual projects.

Earlier this year, Dropbox acquired the
CloudOn document
service . The platform allows you to view, edit and work in a team on documents from mobile devices. The site posted a letter of apology to users, information about the closing date - the service will not work from March 15. Registration of new users is completed.
