The head of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia discussed with the Minister of Information of Belarus and the leadership of the Ministry of the Republic the need to intensify Russian-Belarusian ties in the field of information, the creation of a common information space of the two countries, the exchange of data on combating child pornography, drug trafficking and suicide. The Head of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia during his visit to the Republic of Belarus met with the Minister of Information Lilia Ananich and the leadership of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic. The meeting discussed issues of cooperation in the field of information, Internet development and interaction in the field of information and communication technologies.

Among the issues for discussion were cooperation in the development of the Internet and the exchange of data on combating child pornography, drug propaganda and suicide. The parties will cooperate in the exchange of experience in the development of digital television, in matters of IT development, the creation of technology parks, postal and mobile communications, the construction of fiber-optic communication channels, information security and online services and services.
