DevConf-2016: conference program

The May holidays were over, demonstrations and parades died down, and 48 applications for reports have already gathered at DevConf. In this post I will tell you which sections will be presented at the conference and which applications have already been received.

This year there are 7 sections at the conference, here they are: php, ruby, python, common, js, devops, storage and master classes. Most applications are now in the common section. Anton Shramko has applied for the programming language pro. Rust He will briefly introduce the listener to the Rust programming language, its features, capabilities, and interesting tools for rust, their capabilities, and areas of their use. Alexey Parkhomenko, CTO from TogetherNetworks, will tell about the effective use of RabbitMQ in production. He will talk about what to tyunit, how to diagnose problems, how not to lose messages, what to look for, and how to pump RabbitMQ before servicing millions of messages a day.

QA will be presented by Ilya Kudinov with his report “Development of testing processes in Badoo over three years, or as we thought that everything was good, but it turned out that we can do better”. He will talk about the difficulties that the team has encountered and how to overcome them.

Ivan Usyk, Lead Developer, Gismeteo, presents the report “Nginx + Redis + Ssi + Lua”. Now, with the spread of SOA, the subject of transferring high-loaded microservices to the lower-level part of the platform becomes particularly relevant. A report about Vladimir Likhtansky was presented about the ecosystem of Plesk plug-ins, and about HTTP / 2 and its myths there is an application for a report from Valentin Bartenev from Nginx inc.
