Shielded VM (shielded virtual machines) is a fundamentally new Windows Server 2016 technology that allows the owner of a virtual machine to enable, for example, using BitLocker, encrypt volumes within the guest OS. Thus, the contents of the VM remain inaccessible both to the malicious code on the Hyper-V host where the VM is located and to the administrator of this host. Moreover, encryption keys are never stored on Hyper-V nodes with shielded VMs, which significantly increases the security of the solution as a whole.
As part of the webinar, you will learn about the concept and main components of Shielded VM technology, hardware requirements, configuration features, and application scenarios for this new solution. ')
