Pavel Durov will distribute $ 1 000 000 to Telegram bots developers

Good day, dear habravchane! Surprised that this news has not yet been published here. Most recently, the Telegram Bot Platform 2.0 has been released . An additional keyboard appeared during the dialogue with the bot, a geolocation request, new content types, updated mechanics. In connection with this event, Pavel Durov announced a contest with a prize fund of $ 1,000,000. Developers of the best bots for Telegram will receive grants in the amount of $ 25,000. The bot must meet only 3 basic requirements:

• It should be as fast as all Telegram interfaces.
• It should be useful for at least several people.
• It will be good if it works in inline mode (access to the bot through its nickname in any chat).

With regard to the subject of bots, Telegram's management is most interested in the following areas: integration, tools for developers, artificial intelligence, processing of natural languages. But in principle, this also does not matter much, as well as the similarity of the idea with bots on other platforms. The main thing is the complete harmony of your bot with Telegram.

To participate in the contest, you need to write a couple of lines about your project in the BotSupport channel, indicating the bot's nickname and the hashtag #BotPrize. Prizes will be distributed throughout 2016. The deadline for submitting a bot to the contest is December 31st.
