Microsoft is trying to do a lot of good for students, but the highlight of the year is certainly the final of the
Imagine Cup student projects
competition . Traditionally, the finale is not only a competition of teams, but also a set of lectures and activities interesting to a wide student audience - so we also call it Student Day. This year the final of the Imagine Cup and the Student Day will be held in Moscow this Saturday,
April 23, 2016 , in
Digital October , starting at 10:00.

We recommend all students in Moscow and the surrounding area to attend this event - for this you must
first register . For students from other cities will be available
online broadcast . Below - in more detail about what
will be at the event and
which teams will perform .

Team performances
The most important thing in the final is still the performances of the teams! This year in Russia there was a very big interest in the games - it is not surprising, after
the Russian teams won the international final two years in a row. As a result,
12 games projects will be presented at the finals this Saturday, and only 4 projects each in the categories of “innovation” and “social projects”. But this does not make such projects less interesting - we will have a holographic teleportation project (without using any augmented reality helmets!), And an Internet of things device for helping people with disabilities, and
virtual educational space travel .
More information about the teams and their projects, you can
read on the site .
Master of Code
In addition to student teams, schoolchildren will also compete for a trip to Seattle at the
Master of the Code competition finals. First, the finalists of the competition will present their projects to the jury and the audience, after which the super-finalists will compete directly on the court for the right to go to the international final of the Imagine Cup in Seattle. If you are also a master of code, or are planning to participate next year, or just go to school and love computers, you will probably be interested to watch this process!
