Cronvix: user travel notes

In my subjective opinion, blog services in RuNet are enough. However, this does not prevent the emergence of all new similar services. Well, what - “after all, if the stars light up, it means - is it necessary for someone?”

One of the latest innovations in the blogging services market has become the Cronvix project. Under the name of unknown origin is a friendly service, where even an inexperienced user can easily figure out what's what. For this great respect to the usability of the project: all the elements are in their places, everything is intuitively clear, there are practically no questions what to do. In my opinion, this is a huge advantage over LiveJournal, for which Cronvix can be forgiven even for a limited community size.

Although the design is, let's say, somewhat ambiguous. It seems that the interface lacks some kind of zest, perhaps brightness. The eye has nothing to dwell on. Experts will scold me, but web 2.0 is still more associated with roundness or something. And with more cheerful colors. And Cronvix, as the standard faceless table of a regular forum ...

Plus - that the content is divided into types: "photo", "video", "files", "diaries". For example, without looking at the user's page, you can view all the videos added by him, all the photos that are on the service scroll in one place. Generally collectors - wildly handy thing.

We were pleased with the convenient setting of the RSS feed. No need to bother with crossposting plugins, just enter the address of the RSS feed, and every day (although for some reason at 4 am) entries from the tape will be transferred to the blog on Cronvix.

The stars of the blogosphere were seen at the service - in this way, Orthodox Gazenvagen blog broadcasts in Cronvix. Corporate blogs have not been noticed - but I think it is a matter of time.

There is a fun feature - the ability to install paid access to certain records. How can I use it I do not know yet, but in principle it is interesting. I think many will like the opportunity to get money for the generated content.

What upset Cronvix is the lack of communities as a class. In their release, the creators promised to improve and add communities in the near future, but so far this feature is not enough.

So, the moral of this fable. In general, the blog service is user-friendly and sufficiently usable. Attracts a constructive organization of content, which allows you to save time and view only what you need. If the creators refine the project, it will be a worthy competitor to LJ, and Lira, and all the other blog services.
