About 80 practicing developers of Scala, from leading IT companies in Moscow and St. Petersburg, gathered in the loft of "BANK"! (Tinkoff Bank, RAMBLER & Co; Yandex; HeadHunter, Infoteks and many others). Those who could not come to the event, could join us and listen to the speakers through the online broadcast using webinar.ru. Colleagues exchanged experiences, there was also a format of live communication and the presentation of their own projects among like-minded people. The evening was opened by the head of the QIWI Group's development department, Ilya Linnik : “Programming in Scala is not yet widespread in Russian IT, but our requirements for the products we create motivate us to develop in this direction at the level of working solutions. A good Scala programmer is worth its weight in gold today. QIWI creates conditions for dialogue among Scala enthusiasts who already have something to show and tell. We are confident that our own experience in already implemented cases will be interesting to many. ”The second from QIWI was Scala-evangelist Denis Mikhailov with his ideas on implementing distributed event-oriented systems on a large company scale. The third speaker was Ostapenko Yevgeny - Scala programmer from Tinkoff Bank with the theme: “Akka Cluster Sharding”. He told colleagues about the wide possibilities of working with akka.

There was a very cozy and warm atmosphere, a sea of ​​live communication and the opportunity to get to know and agree on future joint projects!
