Omsk! Welcome to the practical StudyJam for Android
Hi, Habr! This spring, all Omsk IT specialists just had a holiday: in March, the Google Developer Group Omsk community held a StudyJam for Android Beginners in March, where they learned the basics of Java and Android. The course aroused great interest - 70 participants at the start, 25 of whom successfully coped with all the tasks of the course and the final exam .
Our training took place in the format of independent viewing of the online course from Google and analysis of any practical issues with Android-experts from Omsk IT-companies. Schoolchildren, students, employees of IT-companies took part in the course, and everyone-everyone had extremely positive impressions and there is a desire to continue learning. Well, since there is a desire - why not meet the demand for knowledge? We are glad to present you the second part of the tutorial - StudyJam workshop on Android development!
In the practical course, we will do our own open source projects. Classes will be held in April and May. To participate, you need to know the basics of Java, be able to read technical documentation in English and have a laptop that meets the requirements of Android Studio .

For successful completion of the course, it is enough to pay for studies 2-3 hours a week (at any time convenient for you), and also to come to the university once a week for live communication with experts and other participants.
As a result, you will learn practical development of business applications for Android, master modern tools and approaches to developing mobile applications, meet interesting people, and as a bonus, you will receive a lot of positive emotions.
In order to become a participant in the course you must register through a special form. The starting organizational meeting will take place this Saturday (April 9) from 11:30 to 13:05, at the address: Omsk, Mira Avenue, 55a (1st building of OmSU). There we will tell all the details of the upcoming training and answer all your questions.
