The traditional and important mission of the blog of our company in Habré is to annually inform readers about the start of accepting applications for the next summer school of Intel. What we are now with great pleasure and do. So, in July - August of 2016, the Summer Internship will be held at Intel’s software development centers in Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk (officially called that). If you are young, ambitious and willing to use the summer months to improve your programming skills, then this topic is for you. Read carefully the announcement below - such a chance falls only once a year!

About fifty Russian students, undergraduates and graduate students will receive on a competitive basis a unique opportunity to undergo intensive internship and additional professional and scientific training in the field of modern information and communication technologies based on one of the centers. The best students who successfully completed the internship within this program will have the advantage of working at Intel during their studies as interns and after graduation as full-time employees.

Within two months, students will undergo an internship in real projects. At the same time, leading scientists of various scientific schools and areas, teachers at Russian universities and leading staff of Intel will hold a series of special lectures, trainings and seminars. The interns will work on the tasks proposed by the projects, under the guidance of experts from Intel. For example, some tasks.

• Developing and improving examples of using the Intel RealSense SDK on various platforms
• Development of performance profiling tools for games running on virtual reality devices
• Implementing a distributed algorithm prototype in machine learning

During the internship, a monetary reward is paid, a non-resident intern is given a grant to travel from the place of study to the place of internship and back and stay in a student dormitory.

Dates of internship: from July 4th to August 26th. Students are invited to participate (starting from the 2nd year at the time of application), undergraduates and graduate students, not older than 27 years old, who have citizenship of the Russian Federation. Enrollment in school is based on the results of competitive selection. The competition will be attended by questionnaires and descriptions of ideas and plans for solving the problems selected by the applicants.
