3CX WebMeeting 8.3 in Mozilla Firefox browser

Users who prefer the Mozilla Firefox browser can now also participate in 3CX WebMeeting video conferencing. Prior to this, the connection to the WebRTC conference was available only from Google Chrome. We remind you that in order to participate in a video conference, you do not need to install any software or any additional plug-ins. Everything works right in the browser!
Video conferencing interface has become more convenient. Now it contains a compact panel of informative icons at the top of the screen, with which you can invite a new participant, turn off the camera or microphone, turn on the conference recording, show your screen or document, or connect to someone else's computer. Improvements touched cloud infrastructure 3CX, supporting the conference (back-end). Now you can set the quality of Full HD 1080p video. However, keep in mind that such a resolution exerts a significant load on the conference participant's PC and network bandwidth. If there are not enough resources, WebMeeting will automatically limit video quality.

Integration of 3CX Hotel Module and InnQuest roomMaster

The integration of 3CX Hotel Module and InnQuest roomMaster hotel management system allows you to add unified communications to the hotel complex. RoomMaster organizes all the work of the hotel, starting with the settlement of the guest and before his departure, and 3CX Hotel Module provides all communications between staff and guests. For example, the readiness status (cleaning) of the room is displayed by the maids directly on their smartphones with the 3CX client installed. Thanks to the same mobile clients 3CXPhone, connected to the general Wi-Fi network of the hotel, the staff is available anywhere, without the cost of a separate expensive SIP DECT system with roaming. On the hotel website you can now place the WebRTC link for a direct call to the receptionist. And, of course, hotel managers can now organize video conferences with potential customers and partners.
As a result of this integration, the cost of hotel communications is reduced by almost an order of magnitude, since there is no need to purchase an expensive specialized hotel PBX. Also, as was said, it is enough to use a single Wi-Fi network, without deploying a parallel DECT network. Hotel staff can use their own or corporate smartphones, rather than expensive specialized tubes, the choice of which is rather limited. The ability to display additional information on the status of numbers in the 3CXPhone client makes the work of the staff more coherent and productive.
