Hello!
While I was rapidly recovering health after the recent crash, my colleagues did not waste their time and baked new test versions like cakes, sometimes giving out several sets of assemblies per day. Following the recommendations of the doctors, I did not fuss and run online for every occasion, but slowly went down from the hospital bed and rewrote all the announcements into one. Here it is, and I bring to your attention.
So, what's new happened from my previous post. First, I was discharged from the hospital: the functioning of the heart was fully restored, even without the traditional for infarction scarring on the heart muscle. Thank you all so much for your support and kind words - everything could have been different without you. And secondly, my colleagues and I came close to the release of the first stable version of the browser. This explains the high rate of release of new assemblies (a total of four versions) - the process of eliminating the last subquality is underway.
However, as we all know, there are no recent flaws - modern software is a complex product, so it’s physically impossible to prepare a version that doesn’t contain any flaws: the product’s readiness level for release is defined like the image below.

However, in the case of browsers, the process looks slightly different: at this stage we are trying to achieve a smooth and stable operation of the basic features of Vivaldi, with which users work daily and in large quantities. At the same time, of course, a certain part of users who are used to squeezing the maximum possible from their software are not insured against surprises in the browser. But let's get to the point.
We have improved the process of importing data from other browsers. In particular, it became possible to import 12 passwords protected by a master password from Opera. Fixed a bug with capital letters when auto-completing addresses, as well as a bug with deleting custom thumbnails from the Express panel when clearing the browser history.
That's all. A complete list of changes is at the end of the article, and you can download the new assembly via the links below:
