Stand EAST 4 SCADA: how to arrange an accident on the railway
For the first time, the stand EAST 4 SCADA will unfold at the site of the technical area of the PHDays VI forum. Anyone who is interested in the safety of an automated process control system will be able to try their hand at finding the vulnerabilities of SCADA systems and writing their own exploits - and even try to arrange an accident on the test railway.
The EAST 4 SCADA team will conduct a master class at which it will tell about typical vulnerabilities of industrial systems and hacking methods using the domestic open-source framework EAST (exploits and security tools). For testing at the stand, various automation systems from ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, ICP DAS and others will be presented. ')
You will learn how to search for vulnerabilities in process control systems, SCADA and PLC components, how to create and run test modules and exploits that illustrate the risks of SCADA systems. You will be able to practice the simplest ways to influence test systems of an automated process control system, find vulnerabilities and derail a train that has become popular with previous PHDays.
We invite experienced and novice hackers to take part. We recommend to capture your own laptops.
