Coastal Solar Panel

The Japanese have always been famous for the ability to appreciate every meter of their area is not so immense land of the rising sun. Now they are pressing the garbage, winning shreds of manmade land from the sea, then, they decided to use the areas adjacent to the water expanses for the solar power station. This idea belongs to the companies Sharp and Kansai Electric Power. And its essence lies in the implementation of a freshly created project for the production of solar energy by building solar panels along the coastline of the city of Sakai.

According to the presented draft, the Japanese will build, firstly, a solar power station designed for 10 MW and, secondly, they will run a power plant of 18 MW across the coast of power plants for the production of energy. The solar panels themselves will be installed on the roofs of buildings. Sharp is responsible for the batteries (silicon thin-film modules), which should begin their production in March 2010. The launch of the power plant is planned for the same 2010.
