New at PHDays: Hardware Village Playground

This year for the first time at the Positive Hack Days, the open area of ​​the Hardware Village will unfold. The project team decided to anchor and take part in the sixth annual PHDays forum. Fans of hacker hardware will be able to “touch” the equipment and attend master classes in which children will share their knowledge of hacking and low-level programming.

Hardware Village is designed for both experienced hardcore, and novice enthusiasts. Over the course of two days, master classes and lectures by experienced hackers will be waiting for visitors to tell about their experiences. For everyone, the whole breakdown of hacker iron will be available, which you can not only watch, but also try it out.

The first day will be devoted to wired networks and data transmission interfaces: Ethernet, 1-Wire, UART, JTAG, SPI, USB, CAN. The Hardware Village team will tell you how to choose hardware for specific tasks and how to work with it correctly. You will learn all about multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, get acquainted with self-made hacker devices based on Arduino, ARM, FPGA.

The second day is devoted to the topic of wireless networks: a wide range of frequencies from 125 kHz to 5 GHz, the popular exchange protocols are RFID, NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Also, the organizers have prepared a master class and a competition on SDR.
