Ten years ago, the Internet was full of stupidly made pink-green-orange home pages. Against this background, even with a little knowledge of flash, 3DMax and pearl, you could have a very cool homepage for yourself. What I actually did. But at that time there were problems with hosting, more precisely with the money for hosting, and the page meant to be interactive (guest book - where else without it) and without banners. Then it was unrealistic, so this business did not come out beyond the localhost.
Now there are much greater demands on the sites, wider channels, more opportunities to implement ideas. But the homepage somehow does not appear. At one time, I took up wordpress, added 3-4 posts and scored on it - somehow I didn’t get it, I’m not a blogger after all.
And you want something like that, to clutch, and not only me, but also the people who will visit the site. Once I came across the site of Sergey Minaev - my hands completely dropped 8)

But you have to do something. Accordingly, the question is: what characteristics should a modern homepage have? What would you like to see on the homepage of your friend / colleague / boss / subordinate? Video, animation, some hard creative? Maybe a blog with business information or a minimum, such as "my name is Vasya, my phone number is 123-45-67, soap vasya@vasya.ru, who needs it - write"?
