Virtually any site in our time can not do without the form to enter all kinds of articles, comments and other content. Naturally you want content to be rich (formatting, links, tables, pictures, even video) and an insane array of all sorts of javascript online editors have appeared in the network long ago, but they all provide similar functionality (some more, others less, but one ).
But they all look like WordPad. The problem is that they are mainly focused on the visual rather than the semantic design of the test and usability is still not up to par.
Not so long ago, I started using MS Word 2007, there is such a feature as a quick access panel to the styles - you can immediately see how the styles look and understand why they are needed (Or, like in the old Word, in the styles panel).
It seems to me it would be nice to make such an editor so that, for example, there was a style panel with their visual display on the side, and that there were semantic sections - for example, headings, quotes, etc. Then the user will immediately see what he has, and visually the information is absorbed faster than just text.
Finally
I would also like to know which
javascript WYSIWYG editors you prefer.
UPD
Found here on a
comparative table of some editors . Maybe someone will be interested;)
