CityF contest: the battle between hackers and bezopasnik

Two months later, the sixth Positive Hack Days forum will take place. Already in full preparation for the event: the first group of speakers was announced and the second wave of Call For Papers was nearing its end, the reception of applications for the Young School and the contest for hacked future cyberpunk stories started. Now we are pleased to announce that the PHDays VI ityF competition rules have been published : Confrontation.

The main competition PHDays changed the format: we moved away from the usual CTF - the real battle between hackers and security men will unfold on the forum. This time three teams will fight: “hackers”, “defenders” and SOC (security operations centers). Events at the site will be as close to reality. The teams have at their disposal an emulation of a city in which there is a bank, a telecom operator, an office of a large holding, an electric power company, and other facilities. In addition to the teams, there will be a lot of users and clients at the test site. During the game, teams to achieve the goal will be able to act in any way that is not prohibited by the rules.

By the way, guests of PHDays and Internet users within PHDays Everywhere, as well as those who decided to try themselves in certain tasks (for example, breaking into a bank or an automated process control system) can take part in the CTF.
