At the beginning of this year, we experimentally launched a new type of accounts, read & comment, on Megamind and Hiktaims : it allows registered users in read only mode to comment on new publications and thus take an active part in the life of the community, earn reputation and communicate together. It is obvious that the emergence of R & C accounts on Habré was a matter of time. And now, this time has finally come! Yes, from this moment on, any user who has read only an account on Habré can get the status Read & Comment (R & C), that is, he can comment on any publication for which the voting period has not expired. As on our other sites, some of the restrictions necessary to maintain the order will apply here:
Comments are quite tough pre-moderation (tougher than on GT and MM) and appear only with the approval of the author of the publication or moderators of the site; ')
After approval of the first comment, the user receives the status of R & C, and all subsequent comments on the same publication appear immediately, without pre-moderation;
10 approved comments in ten different publications open up the possibility to comment without pre-moderation in any publications with an unexpired term of voting (there were 5 comments on MM and GT, now also 10 );
At the R & C user, along with the possibility of commenting, karma and rating appear, but he himself cannot vote for publications, comments, and karma until his karma reaches the required value;
All resource rules are fully applicable to R & C users. Spelling and punctuation should not be forgotten either;
You can vote only for a minus for the karma of a R & C user (by the way, any account that has received an invitation not just for publication, but just like that, has the same property);
Getting an invitation removes all restrictions and upgrades your R & C account to full.
An important point! As in the case of MM and GT, each comment left by the R & C user can be approved or rejected - the author of the publication under which this comment is left is selected, or the site moderators. We hope that the authors will be objective and fair and will reject comments only if they violate the rules of the site, are illiterately written or do not carry useful meaning (“Thank you,” “Interesting,” etc.).
