Good day, Habraludi.
In this post I want to ask for advice on how best to manage domains.
The situation is the following: it turned out that sites were created at different hosting sites, there were also registered domains, and today there is a wide variation in managing them. For example, one domain is parked at petergoste, a couple in a pv-center, etc. It’s not very convenient to handle them.
I would like to have a separate account where all domains would be stored, where it would be possible to quickly and easily change records, renew, etc.
')
What advise in connection with the foregoing? Where do you store your domains?
I found the user-friendly interface on r01, who uses it, how flexible is everything there?
Thank you in advance.
APDate: So,
nic.ru ,
r01 ,
webnames and
reggae are most often mentioned (not a registrar, just a convenient basket, a partner of the ru-center).
A certain set of rules:
1. Domains separately, hosting separately.
Does not allow to become attached to a hoster, it is easy and not forced to change them as gloves.
2. All domains from one registrar (if possible).
Just convenient to see in front of you a list of domains, dates, settings.
3. We select the registrar on the basis of prices, services, domains already available.
Pitfalls: moving a domain from one registrar to another is an instant; moving a domain from one admin to another inside one registrar is also not sure.
Example: I have three domains registered through sweb hosting at registrar r01, changing the password I can change all the records, but the domain can be extended only through hosting! To transfer a domain completely under my control, you need to send letters, a copy of your passport, etc. And this is only a transfer within the registrar.Morality!
If you are just starting to eagerly accumulate domains, think in advance and select one registrar and do everything through it.
I left to write letters ...
ps I chose reggae → pv-center.
