About four-dimensional thinking
When I was young, I went to my dad to work in the layout department and saw strange monitors stretched vertically, similar to the screens of the cult Xerox Alto.
They explained to me that they are called one-page, because one page of the newspaper fits on them. Since then, I wondered a couple of times - isn’t such a monitor more convenient now? In the Word, on the Internet - everywhere the pages remain vertical, the lists are elongated ...
When I updated the monitor at home to a wonderful 215tw, I first of all put it upright and admired the long friendly brand LJ . However, the home computer desk did not allow to leave it in this position, and it looked like a wide (high?) Screen monitor eerily, so I later used the monitor in its normal state.

But recently I tried to deploy the same monitor at work, and immediately understood why it was needed. A huge amount of things has become much more convenient:
It is convenient to read PDF and docks with a description, edit official documents - the whole page fits in a beautiful format.
It is convenient to look at tables and lists (backlog, reports).
The most important thing: in a configuration with a laptop monitor and vertical, I have a triple workspace. Now I can display three windows - the site, its code and, for example, the database - in different windows and work with them in parallel.
I have already infected a couple of colleagues with this idea, so I suggest to try it - all of a sudden one-page mode will be more convenient for you too?
