Not so long ago, AP ePM1000 LITE base stations went on sale: 5GHz Connectorized Radio, Sync
C058900R051A - FCC locked - locked under the US region;
C050900R052A - Rest of the World - no lock to the region;
C050900R053A - ETSI locked - locked under the EU region.

The first AP Lite began to be sold with firmware 2.4.2.
The difference between AP Lite is primarily in the price (almost two times lower than the full version) and in the minimum software functionality limit. This limitation is the number of subscriber units (SM) that can be registered on an AP.
AP Lite can register 10 SM on itself, unlike the full version, which supports up to 120 SM.
For AP Lite, an upgrade can be performed using a license that is purchased separately. Full Capacity AP License - ePMP GPS Sync AP License Key - Upgrade Lite (10 SM) to Full (120 SM) - C050900S200A.
One license can be used to unlock multiple APs, i.e. the license capacity may be different. For example, 5 or 10 devices can be unlocked using a single license.

It is worth noting that you can unlock AP Lite starting with firmware 2.6.0 and higher.
A firmware below 2.3.1 is not supported by AP Lite devices.
You can order a license through Cambium Networks retailer in your area.
After obtaining a license, it is necessary to generate a key, individually for each device.
Those who worked with devices for the Europe region (ETSI locked) already had experience with licenses when on Cambium Networks portal:
support.cambiumnetworks.com/licensekeys/epmpgenerated keys for a specific country from the ETSI region.
In release 2.6.0, the process of entering and generating keys suffered some changes.
First of all, it should be noted that now a separate tab has been created for the management of licenses on the device in Tools → License Management. The early country key was entered directly in the Configure → Radio tab.
Release 2.5:

Release 2.6:

The tab contains two sections of the Device License Requirements, which describes the locks that are relevant for this device, and the License Management section, which displays all the information regarding the key entered on the device.
Now let's look at the key generation process after purchasing an ePMP GPS Sync License AP License Key - Upgrade Lite (10 SM) to Full (120 SM).
The license is a string of 36 characters.
First of all, you need to save it in your profile on the Cambium Networks portal.
Open the My Entitlements tab and enter a license and description for it, then save.

Then the license is activated.
You can go to the Activate Entitlements tab or by clicking the “Activate” button from the My Entitlements tab.

After that, specifying the MAC address of the Ethernet interface and the country (in the case of ETSI locked devices), you will generate a key, which you will then need to enter on the device.

Keys are stored on the Recent Activations tab and are always available to you.
By entering the generated key on the device, saving and rebooting it, you get an AP with a capacity of 120 SM.
