Plants for peasants, land for workers, Java technologies for students!
As you all know, JUG.ru has been doing Java conferences for the fourth year. For 3 years, the JPoint conference has evolved from the experiment of several enthusiasts into one of the industry flagships.

When you do specialized (as marketers,
niche ) events, you always try to answer the question - who is your audience. The audience of our big conferences is:
- enthusiastic developers who are willing to spend their energy, money and time on self-education and networking
- Senior and Middle developers who have a lot of different and complicated things at work, and they want to learn at the conference about solving their specific problems by listening to the reports or having a direct conversation on the sidelines with speakers or colleagues
- companies that are interested in investing in their own engineers so that they increase their level and thereby bring more benefits to the company.
JPoint is a conference for experienced developers. Students go there almost pointless:
- content is quite complex and technically rich
- the price, if you are unemployed or just started working, bites
Output? Make a
java conference for students !
So, on April 24 (it will be Sunday) in Moscow immediately after the “big JPoint” there will be a
JPoint Student Day conference.
In St. Petersburg, we have
already done such konfu. It turned out great and fun.

So, what awaits students on this Sunday?
- 18 reports on Java technology in three parallel rooms;
- communication with gurus, professionals, experts, etc. etc.;
- the opportunity to look at the main people in the Russian-speaking Java-world;
- opportunity to talk about internships in partner companies (they will be at the exhibition with stands).
Finally, this is a good opportunity for young people to see with their own eyes a serious industry event and finally compare their feelings with the stories of their senior comrades.
So,
- if you are young and hot and are interested in Java technologies - come to the conference!
- if you are an experienced developer, call your younger brothers, sons, junior students to the conference;
- if you are a teacher, call your students;
- If you want to share something interesting with students - submit an application for a report !
Unfortunately, we have an age limit - the participant on the day of the conference should be no more than 24 years old. The exception is only for Java teachers in universities. If you are a teacher, we will be glad to see you! If for some reason it turned out that you are a student, you are not working, and you are over 24 years old - write me in a personal, think of something.
Traditionally in the comments I will answer any questions.
