Fixes, fixes, fixes and a few words about Vivaldi

Hello!

A few days ago we released the third beta version of the Vivaldi browser , and today we are ready to show another test build with a lot of fixes and improvements. First of all, the following important changes can be noted:

And so on. The full list of changes is at the end of the article, as always. And now - a few words from Jon von Tachner, founder and director of Vivaldi Technologies.

Why Vivaldi is different from other browsers.
')
I would like to talk today about Vivaldi, as a company, in the light of the articles I've read recently. For those who do not follow the news, I want to point out that Firefox refuses to group tabs (previously called Panorama and Tab Candy). I am not a Firefox user, but I remember very well when tabbed grouping appeared in Firefox (a small history tour for connoisseurs ) in pursuit of a similar function of the Opera browser. Just a few years ago, these two browsers went head to head, trying to attract users with new powerful features. Today, both browsers have abandoned the functionality and are guided by the average lowly user.

In Vivaldi we have another goal. We are trying to create a browser that has the maximum number of features that satisfy the most demanding user. That is why we actively communicate with you in blogs, forums and social networks to understand your requests. And I think we are close to making Vivaldi unique in the browser market. Even a quick overview on the site vivalditips.com (website created by users about Vivaldi) is enough to see how much we’ve already added to our browser. And we haven't even gotten to the first stable version yet! It should be noted - we do not expect that absolutely all these functions will be in demand by all users of Vivaldi. We know that people will use only a limited set of these functions, but at the same time each set will be unique - after all, we are all different, in fact.

So if you have friends and acquaintances who are using Firefox today and are disappointed with the latest changes in this browser, show them Vivaldi and invite them to our community. It is possible that they will find in Vivaldi those functions that have been removed from their usual browser, and maybe they will see something new that they will like. Becoming active members of the Vivaldi user community, they will be able to influence the development of the browser (after all, we still make the browser for our friends). We do not adhere to the standards of "average user" - we strive to provide each user with individual functions.

That's all. Download the new assembly can be on the links below:
