Teams can offer almost any ideas, as long as they serve a single goal - solving applied problems using cognitive system technologies. Ideas will be evaluated by scientists, engineers, TED and XPRIZE communities. The opinion of the communities will be taken into account when setting the final assessment of the proposed ideas.
The organizers of the competition hope that the participants will be able to propose ideas that can "have a positive impact on the life of mankind, and also help to make a revolution in various industries."

According to one of the leaders of the competition, artificial intelligence can help in finding ways to cure cancer diseases, to solve problems with climate change. “Excellent, inspiring opportunities” open up to participants, writes Stephanie Wonder, a member of X Prize Development Associate.
In May, the conditions of the competition will be clarified and supplemented, after which the acceptance of applications from the participants will begin.
