ODF vs OOXML, the battle is over.
The battle of formats was long and tense, now it is over and we have a winner ... Microsoft announced its support for the ODF format, which will be implemented starting with Microsoft Office 2007 SP2 . In addition, a Microsoft spokesman stated in plain text: ODF is a winner.
Speaking at the Red Hat Summit conference in Boston, Stuart McKee said: ODF won a clear victory. Sales of software for us are the most important source of income.
