How to make voting for posts more objective

I want to offer a little idea ...
I don’t quite like how voting for posts takes place. The fact is that after reading a post, I look at what evaluation other users gave this post, and after that it becomes somehow harder for me to give this post my own assessment. It turns out that my own opinion is partly based on the opinions of the others. Therefore, probably, the effect of herding appears, when the posts with a large number of pluses continue to receive them. In turn, posts with at least one minus are less likely to be captive.

The problem in my opinion is that it is impossible to give my assessment without seeing the summing up assessment for the post. I propose such a solution: when viewing a post, the rating set by the users who voted is not initially visible (for example, a question mark is displayed instead of it). You can see it only by voting for the topic. If a person does not want to vote, but wants to see the results of the voting, he will be able to click on the link (or on the question mark, which is instead of the evaluation) and then he will see the assessment. Either it is necessary to add such a feature in the account settings - so that the user can choose for himself whether the post ratings will be shown to him before he voted or not.

UPD: Please give your opinion. Do you agree with the fact that in this situation, the general opinion to some extent affects your choice?
