Microsoft strongly recommends users upgrade to Windows 10

Microsoft changed the status of the upgrade to Windows 10 from “optional” (optional) to “recommended” (recommended) for users of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. In early January, the company already reported that Windows 10 was installed on more than 200 million devices, and also indicated the future promotion of upgrading users to the new version of Windows. From today, an update to this OS version will appear in the list of updates for all users of the above OS.

At the same time, this update will still be on the list of “optional” and users will still be able to refuse to download gigabytes of installation files of this OS and install them later. Microsoft also allows you to return to the previous installed copy of Windows (downgrade) within 30 days after its installation, if the user did not like working with Windows 10.
