How to set up GTalk gadget in Opera 9.5

For a long time I wondered, but why does the operan have such terim as a web panel and what they eat it with, especially in cases with bookmarks that you can honestly put there.

The first thing I managed to do was to screw a local HTML file with a list of useful links to the forums and a chain of login passwords to them.
Sometimes, you know, it’s convenient to clarify in one click with the mouse, and who are you on this forum?

Then I learned that there is an option when knowledgeable people place a page on the online ICQ on this web panel.

But since I haven’t been using the classic ICQ for a long time, I really liked the idea and began to look for an option to screw the jabber client in this way.

In the spring of this year, Google released its online widget with a google chat which is true, flatly refused to work with Opera 9.2
First I sent for the latest version of the flash player, which, by the way, was already in the system. Then I swore all the same - even when I masked the opera under firelight.

But opera 9.5 came out and this Google widget is working!
True, a page from google online was still written to be disguised as firefox, but the main thing now is working.

So far I could not change the opera star to the gtolka icon - so that everything was beautiful.
By the way, the online google launch in a similar way in a synchronized opera-link made all the necessary changes to the second computer where a similar opera-link account is configured

How to set it up:

open the google gadget page
talkgadget.google.com/talkgadget/popout?hl=en

Press the F12 button - launch the page settings menu

choose the item "change site settings"

Next, open the "Network" tab
in it we select browser identification
“Disguise as Firefox”

add bookmark to our opera

Be sure to put a tick in front of the "display on the panel"

that's all.

Now we’ve got another star in the sidebar with a link to a Google gadget for launching GoogleTalk
