Updates in the service ViaLatM

Updated Android application "My Location Company". Also, a number of new useful functions have been added to the web client of the service.

My Location Companion application

The updated application solves problems that arose with the new permission policy for Android 6. Added the ability to combine android applications into groups without using the web client service. You can specify the name under which your device will appear in the group. Set the name of your group and send a link to download the application via an available channel. By knowing the name of your group, another user can join it using the “Current Group” button. At any time, the user can leave the group and return to his own, or move to another group.
The screen above also displays the components for setting the date and time of the link for observers. Such cute components are standard for versions of androids 5 and higher.

Updates in the web client service

Work has begun on integrating reference videos into the service explaining the operation of the system. So, when you click on the “movie” icon (to the right of the “Object” title), a video in YouTube opens.

Now you can display tooltips when you hover over icons or the names of objects in the list. You can disable this feature through the Settings / General menu.



When you open the modal service panels, you can save information using the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + C. The panel can be closed using the Esc key (in this case, if changes were made, the user is warned about this).

In the settings you can set the tracking of the appearance of new events with a sound signal.

The menu icon (with which you can change the parameters and customize the operation of the object) is painted in color, which determines how long messages have been received from the object.



For the menu icon is an additional icon. It is designed for quick access to reports. The report is formed for the corresponding object. One of three reports can be associated with this icon: a list of recent tracks of movements, a track for the current day, a report of movements / stops for the current day. Setting which report to perform when clicking on this icon is done through the “Settings / General” menu
