Have you thought about the safety of ... a car?

Recently, cars are more and more like big gadgets on wheels, but at the time when the on-board network was first created, no one thought it necessary to think about information security. The results are obvious: many saw a video in which the control of the jeep was captured remotely and the driver along with his iron horse were sent straight to the ditch.



Denis Legezo from Kaspersky Lab in his speech at MBLTdev 15 talks about the problems of car safety, why you can’t just stop all external access to the onboard network and about the prospects for the industry because some of the software development is is like developing mobile software.
