The Last.fm music service and Universal Music Group have entered into a partnership agreement, under which users of Last.fm will receive free access to the full catalog of video clips from Universal.
Now the resource community will be able to view many thousands of clips of popular artists working in different musical directions, including Jay-Z, Nirvana, Def Leppard, Amy Winehouse, The Killers, Duffy, Snow Patrol, Kanye West and many others.
This is not Last.fm first contract. Earlier this year, the service entered into agreements for the distribution of musical materials with the Universal Music Group, Sony / BMG, Warner Music and EMI companies, which allowed Last.fm to increase its user audience by 85% in just a couple of days.

I note that the “free” access to video and audio materials is conditional. In fact, the track or video on Last.fm for free can be heard only three times. After that, the user is offered to purchase it through any paid service, for example, iTunes or Amazon.
