Intelligence agencies allegedly exploited Juniper vulnerabilities

More recently , documents that were previously in closed access under secrecy have come into the public space. Journalists learned that British intelligence used vulnerabilities in Juniper Networks firewalls.

Journalists raised the question of the responsibility of both the company and the intelligence agencies for exploiting the vulnerability, which was not reported. Of course, for this it is necessary to prove the existence of direct collusion, but rumors only fuel the situation.

One of the first reports regarding the access of secret services to Juniper products was transmitted to journalists by Edward Snowden, who shared with the world a huge array of documents that shed light on already implemented mass collection and analysis projects.

In response to the allegations, the company limited itself to a press release that surprised no one. Juniper stated that they are not related to rumors and adheres to high quality standards in the design and development of their products.
