Results of the contest on programming on JS: Mail filters
Announcement: We decided to revise the results of the competition due to serious shortcomings found in the test system. Details in the new post and final results .
Thanks to all the participants of our last programming contest !
We received 408 solutions from 237 different participants (only one of the last from each participant participates in the competition, and we publish the latest versions). In addition, 7 solutions were sent to us either after the deadline for accepting works, or by Hola employees, and we considered them out of competition.
64 decisions, or 16% of the total, were sent within the last day before the end of the term. Of these, 15 were sent in the last hour, and the most recent “slipped” 34 seconds before the deadline.

114 programs passed tests for correctness, which is 48% of the number tested.
The shortest solution fit exactly 666 bytes, and the longest stretched to 90274 bytes.
One of the participants was disqualified for trying to deceive the test system. It's funny that his result is still yielded to the honest result of the winner of the competition.
Two participants shared the second place, as the performance of their decisions was the same within the limits of measurement accuracy. In this regard, we increased the prize fund by $ 500 and awarded each of them a prize of $ 750.
