It so happened that it has long been tormenting the question: "How to follow the forums on topics that are interesting to you, but most importantly, how to find out about the emergence of new questions at the time of their publication." Of course, it can be said that there are newsletters, RSS, but personally it turns out that I usually get to the post office from a mobile while traveling. Manually surfing resources is generally not an option. That's why, if I could answer, there is no computer at hand. And after the arrival, the head is already full of completely different. I can safely formulate my problem. A channel is needed that informs and most importantly, attracts my attention at the moment of publication of a new question.

Until recently, I considered this kind of IM, I do not use Telegram for work, and with the rest everything is not quite right.

After reading the articles of the guys with PushAll, I found the channel that I need - these are push messages. They look like this:

WinService constantly looks at web resources and takes all new questions into the database, sorting by tags. Since I need only some tags, and the rest are not noise, I added a web application (ASP.NET MVC 5) in which I can quickly indicate which tags I need. And to make it more pleasant to look at the web muzzle, from the toaster, I additionally draw pictures of tags. It turned out like this:



The guys with PushAll have an easy API, so it’s pretty easy to make friends with the dispatch channel.

And then subscribe to the push channel, the choice of the necessary tags - and I hasten to share this news with you!

As promised, I spread the source of the service wines, the web and the database . Anyone can, if necessary, deploy and follow interesting questions or simply subscribe to the questionnaire channel . After a little refinement, or rather adding parsing, you can follow any resource.

PS guys, I honestly did not even think about trying to create a holivar RSS vs Push Notification. At the very beginning I described my problem, for all the years I did not manage to make friends with RSS (yes, maybe I don’t just know how to cook correctly), so I’m looking for an alternative. If you are from RSS to you and can pull out all the useful information without fanfare, then as they say: "Respect to you and respect." I just share what I have done for myself, with the certainty that one like me is not one, and it means that if it helps me besides me, then the day is not wasted. Peace for everyone ;-)
