FireFox3 and some problems with extensions

In the light of tomorrow's FF3 release, there are a few sad moments, namely the absence of some useful extensions.
I was particularly upset by the statement that Google Browser Sync would not be released under the top three, which I don’t see a real alternative (not only synchronization of bookmarks, but also cookies and passwords are of interest)
