Actually, the time for final exams has already passed, and their results are already known. Nevertheless, I want to share an example of the enchanting design of HTML-code on the site.

Introduction
It so happened that when I was waiting for the results of the last exam (this is math, but not the essence), then the Internet connection tools other than GPRS, but my laptop did not have. Well, at least something.

I use Opera, and therefore I immediately noticed that the login page using passport data (http://fed.egeinfo.ru/ege) weighs about 200 kilobytes, not counting pictures and scripts, and the main part of the page was not displayed until full load ( which took a lot of time for my connection).

Decided to look at the source code of this page.


And I saw this: (there is no sense to embed a picture in the topic. In the picture there is a code with a minimally reduced font size)

In other words - what did I think to see in the code of the page, 200 kb in size? A bunch of javascripts (advertisements, ayaksovs, what else is there ...), well, or a lot of text (which would be hidden on the page) ...

And then - tabs. Just stop hundred tabs separating the elements of several selects so that the coder is more comfortable to read the code (this is a theory, in this case, of course, we are not talking about any convenience).

Removed most of the tabs - page weight was ~ 30 kb. And then they wonder why the site hangs all the time ... Interestingly, the server traffic in the days of putting the results caught up with the daily traffic of vkontakte.ru?
