Spotify: User Interface Formation
On November 17 last year, we held the second conference of mobile developers MBLTdev , which brought together experts from Spotify, Runkeeper, Wunderlist, Rambler, Soundcloud, Kaspersky Lab, Parallels and many other global IT companies. We decided to talk about the most vivid and interesting reports from the conference. And let's start with the presentation of the iOS developer of the Swedish company Spotify, Hector Zarate, on the formation of the user interface.

The company has testing hypotheses and tasks to make dependent mapping options, to eliminate inaccuracies. All this can be done through the release of a new version of the application, but Spotify did not accept this option. The models are predefined and stored on the client, and an indication comes from the server which models to include on the screen and how to display them there.
