The machine on which I am writing this article is incredibly pleasant to me (yes, let me boast - this is the “ tablet ” of Asus R1E ). This is a very good laptop, not cheap, but outwardly ... one of many, nothing more. And you want something your own. 
Wanting to find some more or less acceptable option (well, I am not ready to do indelible airbrushing on the lid of the laptop for 2 thousand bucks with a hook), I began to look for options on English-language sites. As a result, I found that in the West there is a simple and elegant solution to this issue - stickers, "skins" for laptops and other equipment. 
In the US, there are many shops (see, say, www.laptopskins.net , www.schtickers.com ) where you can choose a “skin” with a design that fully reflects the identity of its owner. And if none of the ready-made options available in the range fit, you can get something for the order. Laptops are just one element of this mosaic - you can buy a skin for your iPod or phone: you also have something to choose from (for example, www.gelaskins.com , store.garskin.com ). We haven't had any problems with order to buy a designer cup, t-shirt or, say, a toy, but to find such pelts is a problem. The first thing I managed to find was a rather small selection of skins offered in Lunokhod 1 .
