Why am I not participating in Win vs * nix holivars?

1. I feel equally confident in both of them.

My work experience for each of them is approximately same. B volume of knowledge, too.

2. I know that each OS has its own niche of existence.

I do not push the gateway and proxy under win.
I'm not trying to run the client side of 1c with very specific components under linux.

3. I know that each and everyone has their own strengths.

Therefore, if there is a task to deploy AD, I will choose a win-server, but I will not pick cyberios, ldap and others so that it more or less works not only in my hands. (but this is not yet released samba4, but we'll see)
And if you just need a file server | proxy | web server - then I will run aptitude install samba | squid | apache2

4. I appreciate my time

and, nevertheless, with optimism I look at the fact that linux actually, as a desktop system, has already surpassed win and that more and more software manufacturers are turning my eyes towards the OS for real enthusiasts.
