Conference C ++ Russia 2016, St. Petersburg

Hello!

February 26-27, 2016 in St. Petersburg will host the largest conference in Russia devoted exclusively to C ++. We tried to collect the best reports and cover a wide variety of topics: from hardcore corutin to enterprise mopping, from crash reporting to reactive programming. In addition, let's talk about boost, discuss what is happening with the standardization of parallel programming in C ++, consider some daily problems, for example, working with C-lines. This time we will again try to arrange blitz reports, but this time they can be registered in advance (even now). There will be something completely new this year.

Interesting? Details under the cut!

As it will be

This year's conference will be opened by Gor Nishanov, Microsoft’s C ++ team lead programmer. He will present a revised and extended version of the report, which he presented this year at CppCon: C ++ Coroutines: negative overhead abstraction
')
The conference will have more than 20 reports, divided into three tracks. We are still forming the third track, so if you have a story to tell, write to us !

Reports and speakers

The geography of speakers this year is as rich as in the past: St. Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Veliky Novgorod, Kirov. There will be foreign guests: in addition to Nishanova, Hartmut Kaiser - contributor boost, HPX Library Development Manager at the University of Louisiana, Kirk Shoop - Microsoft employee, Rx.cpp library author, Joel Falcou - Boost.SIMD developer, Dori Exterman - CTO at IncrediBuild . There will be guests from Belarus: representatives of the Minsk CoreHard community. They will perform as our regular speakers, such as prograholic , antoshkka , mmatrosov , mezastel , Halt and new ones. More details, as always, can be viewed on our website : program, abstracts of reports.

This year we, expecting an influx of applications (which, in general, was justified), prepared a mechanism for their review. We asked our regular speakers to help with this. As a result, at least two people viewed each application. If both reviewers agree that the report is good, the application will be included in the list of reports. This mechanism is also good for giving the author feedback at the stage of preparing the report.

Online viewing

Marty was already here, so the community boldly stepped into the future. Now you can attend the conference on-line, if you really want to listen to the reports, but you do not want to wait a month until we post them.

To students

This year we have good news for students.

First, we have discounts specifically for students. In order to receive it, you need to send a scan or a photo of a student to students@meetingcpp.ru . In response, we will send you a promotional code and you can buy a ticket for 2500. Is it still too expensive? Try to go to the head of the department / director of the institute / rector of the university and explain why the university should pay you participation. As soon as make contact, contact us, we will help.

Secondly, we have allocated a section specifically for students. In this section there will be a story about work in scientific organizations in Russia and abroad. As well as a section of questions and answers with representatives of universities in different countries. We will try to add something more interesting, so stay tuned.

We are trying very hard to make the conference interesting and of high quality. If you do not like something, please write to us about it: conf@meetingcpp.ru . We try to accommodate all reviews.

See you at the conference!
