Announced the start of acceptance of works at the symposium CTCrypt'2016

From 6 to 8 June 2016 in Yaroslavl, the fifth international symposium "Modern trends in cryptography" CTCrypt 2016 will be held .

The topics of the symposium include the synthesis and analysis of cryptographic algorithms and protocols, the study of their effective implementations, and the development of mathematical questions of cryptography.

A very interesting special topic of the symposium is being planned: “The future of asymmetric cryptography”. Now widely used asymmetric algorithms are under potential threat not only from quantum computers, which can be created in the foreseeable (or boundless?) Future, but also from the development of new approaches to solving the discrete logarithm problem. For example, in the last work of Igor Semaev (University of Bergen), who will act as a guest speaker, it is shown that a number of curves from the American standard FIPS 186-4 are theoretically unstable.

Reports to the symposium are accepted until March 7, 2016 through the submission of reports , notification of inclusion in the program of the symposium after reviewing until April 25, 2016.
