Swift language was introduced to the community a little over a year ago, which caused quite a resonance among the developers, not only iOS and OS X.
But even more resonance was caused by the fact that Apple promised to open the compiler code and announced the possibility of supporting the language for operating systems based on linux.
Today, Apple introduced the
Swift source code, as well as the
Foundation libraries, in its repository on
github .
')
Also, the site
swift.org was launched (which, for obvious reasons, is for the most part not available now), where you can learn more about the language.
In addition, in the Apple repository on github and on swift.org, you can familiarize yourself with the development process of swift 3 and, possibly, participate in its improvement.
